Checkered flag in night one of Madtown Showdown at Madison Speedway

Blake entered night one of the Madtown Showdown at the Madison Speedway in Madison, MN on Friday night and night two of the WinterNationals at the Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, SD on Saturday.

Friday, he swept Midwest Modified action, winning his heat from third and winning the feature from the pole. He also raced the Mod, but unfortunately fell out of both his heat and feature on the night.

Saturday, he raced to a pair of second place finishes for his efforts in the Midwest Mod, racing from 4th to 2nd in his heat and from 7th to 2nd in the night's feature. In the Mod, he won his heat race from the outside of the front row before starting on the front row of the feature, but falling out of the race before the checkered flag flew, ending his night early.
