Blake Adams earns WISSOTA National Championship

Blake had a very eventful final weekend of the WISSOTA National Points, where he needed a finish of first or second in a feature to secure his first national championship.

The team made the trek to the I-94 emr Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN on Friday for the Gopher State Showdown with both cars. In the Midwest Mod, Blake won his heat race from the pole and in the Modified, he started 4th and finished 3rd in the night's heat race, locking himself into both features on Saturday night.

Saturday, the team left Fergus Falls and drove to Hibbing where the Hibbing Speedway was hosting their inaugural Hotdish Nationals. Blake won his Modified head race and would go on to finish second in the feature, earning the points he needed to secure the national title!

His plan was then to fly back to Fergus Falls on a private jet and hopefully get there in time to run both features that he had qualified for, but with weather in the area, the I-94 event was moved up several hours and Blake wasn't able to make it back, so he scratched from both features.
