Blake Adams finds victory lane twice over Memorial Day weekend at Bemidji Speedway
Blake completed a busy Memorial Day holiday weekend, racing five nights in a row over the long weekend.
Thursday, at the Grand Rapids Speedway in Grand Rapids, MN, Blake ran his WISSOTA Modified and after a fourth-place finish in his heat race, he started on the pole for the feature race and started the weekend off well with a second-place finish in the feature race.
Friday, at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI, he ran both the Modified and Midwest Modified. In the Mod, he raced from 4th to win his heat race before finishing third in the feature. In the Midwest Modified, he ran second in his heat and raced from 6th up to 4th in the nights feature race.
Saturday, the team was in action at the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, WI with both cars and Blake picked up a pair of runner-up finishes. He raced to runner up finishes in both his Modified and Midwest Modified heat races and then ran second in both the Modified and Midwest Modified features as well.
The weekend wrapped up with back-to-back nights at the Bemidji Speedway in Bemidji, MN on Sunday and Monday nights with both cars.
Sunday night, Blake ran 7th to 4th in his Midwest Modified heat race before racing from 11th up 8th in the night's feature. In the Modifieds, he raced from 5th to 2nd in his heat and then raced from the outside of the front row to win the feature race to cap off the night.
Monday, he won his Midwest Modified heat race from the pole, before racing from 7th up to 3rd in the feature, while in the Modifieds, he ran fourth in his heat before racing to his second straight Modified feature win, after starting on the outside of row one.
