WISSOTA is a non-profit organization consisting of more than 50 race tracks and promoters from Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Ontario and Manitoba in Canada. In 1997 I began racing in the Street Stock division and, as a rookie, I won the WISSOTA 100 Street Stock feature at New Richmond, Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway (WISSOTA’s most prestigeous race). I also earned the national Rookie of the Year honors. Since that first season I have competed in the WISSOTA Super Stock, WISSOTA Midwest Modified and WISSOTA Modified divisions and have raced at 35 different tracks in eight states. My record includes 240 total feature wins, the Super Stock National Point Championship, four WISSOTA 100 Championships, five Wisconsin State Championships, 30+ invitational and special event feature wins, 15 track point championships, 16 season championships, 10 mid-season championships and 12 Best Appearing Car awards. I have also claimed recognition as the all-time leading feature winner (67) at Monster Hall in 2002, and have obtained a large and faithful fan following. In 2006 our race team made the jump to the open-wheel Modified division. The Modified dvision is fiercely competitive and the open wheel stock cars push the limits of excitement each week at dirt tracks all across the country. In January I will travel to Georgia and Florida for 19 days of racing and compete nationally in the UMP Winternationals. These events draw some of the best dirt track racers in the country as well as NASCAR stars Tony Stewart, Kenny Wallace, Clint Boyer and Kenny Schrader. In the spring I will return to racing in the midwest in the WISSOTA Amsoil Dirt Track Series and we will race weekly at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI on Friday nights, Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, WI on Saturday nights and at Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, WI on Sunday nights. Our team may also make an occasional visit to KRA Speedway in Willmar, MN on select Thursday nights. We will also compete at special events throughout the summer and fall in Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Kentucky.
